We found a hot air vent that was throwing some wind... so we had some fun.

These guys were so much fun, we didn't want to stop shooting!! Cheryl & Ritchie have such a fun, easy-going attitude that they just moved so comfortably in front of the camera and is evident in the awesome shots we got. Yaletown was the place of choice and thankfully we didn't get caught in all the fireworks traffic in the downtown core. The sun was giving us some beautiful light and we definitely took advantage of it.

Well, we finally arrived at Mattias' first shoot. Our good friends Danielle and Paul had this precious little man come into their lives about 4 months ago and what a little blessing he is! We had such a fun time on the shoot with him. He was giving us smiles and laughs, funny looks and even cute little yawns. At the end of the shoot he was getting tired so instead of fighting it we let him fall asleep and wound up with some great sleepy shots. These were shot all using beautiful window light.

I have come to realize that this wedding year has been the one to yield THE MOST FAB-U-LOUS shoes I have ever seen. So from now until the end of the season I'll be posting these fabulous shoes for all you shoe-loving brides. Who knows, you might win "shoe of the year"! Lida and Aaron did such a wonderful job with this being their first photoshoot. We shot at Whytecliff Park in North Van and we had both of them climbing on rocks, standing on cliffs and just having a great time at the beach!!! Both of them were full of smiles and we are eagerly awaiting the big day which is in less than 2 months! Here's a sneak peek at the great shots.
