We have a new member to the Jasalyn Thorne Photography family...We're now the proud owners of a new Nikon D300. The D300 has some exceptional upgrades over the D200. One of the most significant improvements is the cameras sensor and how it shoots in low light conditions. Nikon really stepped up with a beautiful camera that will be a great help to the professionals using it.

Well we this shoot was just awesome. Joe and Sara have such a great fun loving attitude that it made photographing them so easy. Joe and Jason (my husband) worked together back in the day at Electronic Arts and have shared their passion for photography by having friendly photo contests. Hey Everyone...Happy New Year!!! Jason and I had the chance to go down to Sedona, Arizona and check out the sights and HUGE red rock formations and have some time with the family. It was soooooo cold down there, I thought 'why didn't we stay home, it was warmer up here in Canada!!' but despite the cold weather we got to witness some of God's awesome sights and wonders. Just last night we were treated to a trip to see our good ol' Canucks at the skills competition and see our men in blue up close!! I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday and we're looking forward to all the new and exciting things we will be unveiling in 2008 so STAY TUNED, YOU WON"T WANT TO MISS THIS!!!!
