We've been eagerly awaiting this amazing couple's wedding over the winter. From the dress to the flowers and beautiful venue (UBC Boathouse), everything was simple elegance and they pulled it off with Vogue style!!! The forecast for the weather was rain, rain and more rain but we were praying hard and the clouds went away and they had a beautiful sunny March day for their wedding. After the reception at about 1:30am we headed out to Gastown for some night photography and it turned out beautifuly with all the gorgeous lights of the city around them (those will be coming later!).

Julia & Sam, It was totally worth the late night hours, thanks for being troopers and staying out with us. We can't wait to show you the rest! Have a great honeymoon in Jamaica!!

This little one was such a delight to photograph. Ruby looked so much like Spring in her little white cotton sun dress making me think that warmer weather is on its way! Ruby's mom had put on some of her favourite music to bring out the smiles and you could see her eyes light up the moment she heard it and then started to wave her little hands in excitement to the music. Being the daughter of two wonderful musicians I guess that's what you can expect, a love for music!

I absolutely LOVE photographing babies!!! You can't help but smile when you see this bright-eyed, rosey-cheeked cutie who does nothing but throw sunshine your way! Enjoy these super cute photos. Tammie and Adam, thanks for letting me spend the afternoon with you guys, you rock!

We had the privilege to be a part of one of our good friend's relatives surprise engagement party for Lisa and Aaron. We secretly agreed to take the couple for a "regular photo shoot" while everything was being set up and then after booked it over to the hall where it would all take place and boy, were they surprised!!! Almost 100 people showed up to show them love and to wish them well on their upcoming wedding in early 2009 in Oz-land.
