So I have high-jacked Jasalyn's blog for my own entertainment. You see Jasalyn thought that it would be great to spend 2 days and 1 night with Angela Hubbard (www.hubbardphotography.com) down in Seattle to see the awesome Joe Buissink and Yervant at their seminar. Well Angela has this great minature poodle 'Whiskey' that I get to take care of for these 2 days and 1 night. Well here are some pics of what me and Whiskey have been getting up to.

This is us at Jasalyn's parents place getting ready for our adventure. Just a note, it is really hard to take a self portrait with a big camera and a dog that won't sit still in your lap.

A quick drop off at Blockbuster Video. Jasalyn wanted to see Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium (sigh), don't bother renting this. Check that, don't watch it when it comes out on cable.



Some cool clouds in the back sparked this little bit of inspiration. Again, Whiskey was not impressed.



A little drive and some doggy walking training later had us stopping at the Crescent Beach pier. You can't see them but there were some kite boarders doing their thing on the water.



This little trip ate up a bit of gas, so a quick stop at the Esso and we off to home.



Got home and the first thing our little trooper was this.

We had the awesome pleasure of shooting our good friends Joseph and Sara. This couple truly shows off their love for each other. Jason used to work with Joseph back in the day at EA, so it was nice to be in an environment that didn't have a bunch of video games be played. Here are a few pictures to enjoy. God Bless!

This little one we've seen grow up before our eyes over the last year and a half. We headed over to Bear Creek Park where the sun was shining and the cherry blossoms were out and had a wonderful time with our next door neighbors!! I've come to realize that once kids discover that they have legs, they are off running around and don't sit still for very long but it makes for fun photos and we truly enjoyed this shoot and everyones smiles!

I truly cannot wait to be mom, well, maybe not quite yet but after spending the afternoon with these gorgeous and fun girls, it sure makes me look forward to it! It was quite the afternoon. We ate timbits, played outside, pretended that we were dinosaurs and tigers and then finished up with some extra fun jumping on mommy and daddy's bed (a one time event only of course!!) I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I loved playing with them! I got down and on the ground and in the grass and I even got TWO Barbie character band-aids to show for all my hard work!! (had to patch up an owee!)

Here we are at colourful Granville Island with two of the most pleasant and happy people we've had the pleasure to meet. Kortni and Joel will be getting married in September and just couldn't wait to do their engagement session; we were looking forward to it as well. We were laughing the whole time and before you knew it, the time had flown by and it was getting dark out (I love how late the sun is up now!!!). We're looking forward to their wedding and hope you enjoy these few pics of this fun-loving couple!!
