Jackie and Darren's day was filled with fun, laughter, sunshine and rain. The morning started off beautiful and sunny which allowed us to get out and do some shots in the sun with the wind blowing her gorgeous tulle Maggie Sottero dress around! We then headed to her condo in Yaletown where there was this great graphic wall that gave us some unique shots and then it was off to the ceremony at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club. Five minutes before the ceremony it started to rain so needless to say it was a short ceremony in order to allow the guests to get inside and out of the rain. Jackie was prepared though with some very cute pink umbrellas which they had walking back down the aisle. One of the unique things that they did was to have their wedding date engraved on Darren's cuff links which I thought was a nice personal touch! Congrats you two!! We had a lot of fun with you guys and we can't wait to show you the rest!

What happens when two VERY well educated people get married? Well, in Jason and Bonnie's case, the running joke at the wedding was that you get the alphabet listed after your name! These two combined have 14 different letters after their names including degrees, masters and a doctorate!!! We had a great time with these two from Edmonton who came to beautiful Vancouver to celebrate their wedding with family and friends at the beautiful Law Courts and Cecil Green. While trotting down the streets of Vancouver we found some great little places tucked away for taking photos. I'm always amazed at how much of the city we miss by being in our cars all the time. If you just take the time to walk a few block, there is so much to discover from a photography point of view.

Our Toronto couple Lephuong and Raymond put on a great party for all their guests on top of Grouse Mountain. With amazing food and views provided by Grouse Mountain staff and excellent décor and planning from Elements Modern Wedding. We had a wonderful time photographing this very fun and loving couple. Samira and Arman were the blessed couple to win the 2008 Vancouver Wedding Show Grand Prize Wedding Extravaganza! We had a wonderful time with these two trotting down the streets of Vancouver and having a blast. Despite the rain, these guys were all smiles and gave us their all as we tried to stay dry and then journeyed out to beautiful Swan-E-Set for their grand reception. Every detail, from the luxurious L.A.M.B shoes to the princess dress of her dreams, everything was pulled together for a great day! Samira and Arman, we wish you guys all the best and we'll see you when you get back from Mexico!

I am so proud of Tania and Steven. Unfortunately, there was an unexpected situation with Tania's mom and she sadly had to miss her beautiful daughter's wedding day. Tania and Steven showed the best example of how you put family before anything else. These guys made sure to visit Tania's mom in the hospital right after their ceremony to show her mom how stunning they both looked in their wedding garb. A nice touch was offered by their videographers to replay some of the ceremony on a hand-held recorder so that she could see her gorgeous daughter get married. Despite all of the events of the day, Tania and Steven were beaming with wedding bliss and we had a wonderful afternoon with them. Our hearts and prayers go out to her and her family as we wish her mom a full and complete recovery.
