Here's a little taste of what's to come from more of our beautiful, glamorous brides this year!!

Ivana & Panos were little balls of love on their shoot as Panos had not seen Ivana in a long while having been away in Greece with family. It was such a nice treat to photograph them being together for the first time in months. Both Jason and I went away from the shoot so full of warm fuzzies as we remembered the times we had to spend away from each other when Jason was finishing his Bachelor at UVIC and was gone for a whole 2 months!! That was one of the hardest times away but you remember how good it was to see them again!

Vancouver is a great place to experience many of the world's cultures, right in our own backyard. This weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Jenny & Kevin's wedding in which they chose to have both an Indian and Western ceremony for their day. Here's a sneak peek at the stunning reds from that portion.

Now for something Summer-y and colourful, a sneak peek from Amanda & Darren's wedding at the beautiful Rockwater Resort in Secret Cove, BC.

When Alyssa told me about her love for the '40s, I was so excited to see what she had come up with for the wedding! The classic theme of red white and black was elegantly carried throughout her details. For the reception, they had mini bubblegum dispensers as their wedding favours which was so fitting! Most of all, I loved her pin curls which totally set the mood. Hope you guys have a great time on your honeymoon and congratulations!! Jasalyn & Jason

I don't think I have ever laughed so hard on an engagement session!! Ashia and Mark we're having a great time and couldn't keep a straight face for long. They have such fun together that "being serious" was the hardest thing to do. Although when they could do it, they totally rocked it out looking like the models out of J Crew. Mark, I'll save you the embarrassing photos off the blog but I hope that you'll put them up all over your house as it was a pleasure to have you guys!!

Johnny and Carmela had a beautiful wedding, full of purples, sparkles and orchids everywhere! There were many moments during the day when Jason and I just looked at each other as it reminded us of our wedding 6 years ago that weekend. Johnny was so fun to watch, he rarely took his eyes off his stunning bride the entire ceremony. The reception was out at Swan-E-Set in Maple Ridge while all set on a sunlit backdrop overlooking the valley. The parents had a surprise of a smoke machine for the first dance, just to give the special moment an added touch. It was like dancing in the clouds! I know that sounds cheesy but that's exactly what I would image it would look like if we could do that.

Another great wedding to start the season off, Shiva and Karl were married in the very elegant Sutton Place Hotel for both their ceremony and reception. Many of their details were hand-crafted by the bride herself! From monogrammed tea light holders to delicately laced programs, everything was to the T perfect! Her gown was a treat to work with as it was all pleated organza by Badgley Mischka with one of the cutest pairs of shoes to match!!
